Summary

Our strategy centered on creating a distinctive architectural statement that harmonizes with its natural surroundings while offering a bold contrast through innovative design. We sought to challenge traditional residential aesthetics by developing a structure that appears to float among the autumn foliage, using dark materials to create dramatic silhouettes against the vibrant seasonal palette. The multi-layered, cascading design was conceptualized to provide both privacy and panoramic forest views, while incorporating cutting-edge sustainable technologies beneath its sophisticated exterior. This approach aimed to redefine luxury living by creating a seamless dialogue between built environment and nature.

Process

The development began with comprehensive topographical and ecological studies to identify optimal positioning within the forest landscape. We employed advanced computational modeling to create the fluid, overlapping horizontal planes that define the structure's distinctive profile. Each level was meticulously designed to capture specific views and light conditions throughout changing seasons. The façade's dark paneling underwent rigorous material testing to ensure durability while maintaining its striking visual impact.
